Throne is a proud member of the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Open Restroom Movement. Patients with Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis (collectively known as inflammatory bowel disease, or IBD) can have unexpected and urgent needs to find a restroom at a moment’s notice. For years, the Foundation has provided our members with a physical “I Can’t Wait” card to help explain to businesses why they are urgently requesting access to a private restroom. Leveraging mobile technology, the Foundation now offers the We Can’t Wait App that provides a simple way to locate publicly accessible restrooms.

Every Throne location is listed in the Open Restroom Movement’s We Can’t Wait App, helping people to find and access a bathroom when they need it most.

Government programs provide mobile phones to those who can’t afford them, but that doesn’t always mean they are charged or aren’t lost along the way. To help ensure everyone has access to Throne bathrooms while still keeping a layer of accountability with each use, Throne offers Throne Tap Cards to members of the community without reliable access to a phone.
